Since the reviewing, editing, and viewing feature I cannot copy and paste from a read only document. I have to gain access to even copy and paste. My job requires me to copy and paste from upwards of 10 documents. Since word won't let me copy and paste from a read-only or viewing document I have to check them out of our SVN every time. Does anyone know how to turn this feature off and go back to the original word?

2022-12-28T23:53:07+00:00 We are being forced to ask clients to roll back Office while we build an urgent bug fix release. The least MS could do give us some indication of where they are going with this. But silence. Give us a work-around Microsoft!

2022-12-29T14:29:16+00:00 We did roll-back some of the clients to the semi-annual channel. That workaround appears to fix the issue for now. A Google search indicates the semi-annual channel is updated the second week of January and July. Hopefully MS either fixes the issue or holds the semi-annual channel January update.
