Excel Stocks not working in Office 365 after installing macOS Ventura v13.0

**Parameters:**Hardware: Mac mini 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3
Software: Office 365 (v16.66.1)
OS: macOS Ventura (v13.0)
Connected Experiences: All On
Auto Update: Have always been On for both Office 365 and macOS

Additional: Nothing new has been installed on the system for over a year (other than SW updates)

TimeLine:

Two days ago: Microsoft Auto Update hung for hours

- Reinstalled MS Auto Update and was able to update MS apps
- Excel Stocks working fine yesterday

This morning: Received error message: "COULDN'T REFRESH DATA TYPES We need to fix your account. Select Microsoft Excel from the top menu > Sign Out. Then sign back in with the account associated with a subscription."

Steps Taken:
Signed out of Office 365; signed back in. No change, and "Stocks" is missing.
Hard Reboot: No change, and "Stocks" is missing.
Scoured the forums online...pretty much tried everything that I could find...

Removed Office 365 Apps, reinstalled, rebooted, etc., signed in again, verified Connected Experiences all are on, and "Stocks" shows up as a menu item: however, when clicking on it, the same error message appears ('COULDN'T REFRESH DATA...").
Removed Office 365 another two times, reinstalled, rebooted, verified Connected Experiences, etc. etc. and no change.
Nothing has changed with my Office 365 subscription (still active, valid, no additional users, etc.).

Thoughts/Questions:

Is this a problem with the latest version of Office 365 (v16.66.1)?

- If so, is there a way to roll back to an earlier version that we know works (I have researched and not been able to find out how to do this.

Is this a problem with the latest version of macOS (Ventura v13.0)?

- If so, is there a way to roll back to a previous version of macOS?

If this isn't the right forum to solve this issue, can someone point me to where I can get assistance; I'm happy to pay a fee, as I'm over four hours of spinning my wheels with everything I've tried.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

I just received this from Microsoft:

Thank you for sending Microsoft feedback. Your input is valuable to us and helps improve our products.

Your feedback directly resulted in improvements to Office and we believe your issue has been addressed in the latest version of Office 365. Thank you! To get the latest update, follow the steps here.

For your reference, you submitted the following feedback on November 3, 2022:  MacOS Ventura 13.0 users have to downgrade to Version 16.65 because all newer versions up to beta 16.68 do not support stock quotes anymore! No, the problem is not yet solved. Latest productive Excel Version 16.66.1 on MacOS Ventura 13.0 with M1 Max MacBook Pro still does not updated stock quotes! Also after reporting the issue to Microsoft Europe last weekend, they acknowledged that I'm not the only one but then went void since. Hey @Microsoft what's going on?

Sorry to hear that. I have 2 different workbooks that are relatively complex and both use the STOCKS and STOCKHISTORY functions. They are both working like a charm this morning. The only thing I did different is that yesterday I had loaded the 16.65 version, shut off automatic updates and it did not work. This morning of course my updates showed the 16.66.1 version available for update so I did that. I then signed out of 365 and signed back in. Instantly everything worked. To make sure I just created a new workbook and filled 1 cell with STOCKHISTORY function and it worked 100%.

I might suggest trashing the version you have (even if it's the latest 16.66.1) and reloading it, making sure to sign out and then back in.

    I hope this helps.

thx for your kind advice. Question: Did you manually uninstall all Office fragments as described here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/uninstall-office-for-mac-eefa1199-5b58-43af-8a3d-b73dc1a8cae3?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us ? I have some web queries defined and would loose them that's why I ask. Is it enough to just disconnect the account and deleted the excel app?

I've also tried to disconnect the account and install the latest beta version of excel from the beta channel. Unfortunately after reconnection with my account I encounter still the same problem.

    Looking forward to a resolution

I did not uninstall all of office, just upgraded Excel from 16.65 to 16.66 and signed out and back in and it all worked.

    HOWEVER......

Just like earlier in this thread when Microsoft helped me, the fix only worked for a day. This morning neither the STOCKHISTORY or STOCKS functions work.

This is incredibly frustrating........ I sure with Microsoft would throw some talent at solving this.
