Excel Stocks not working in Office 365 after installing macOS Ventura v13.0

**Parameters:**Hardware: Mac mini 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3
Software: Office 365 (v16.66.1)
OS: macOS Ventura (v13.0)
Connected Experiences: All On
Auto Update: Have always been On for both Office 365 and macOS

Additional: Nothing new has been installed on the system for over a year (other than SW updates)

TimeLine:

Two days ago: Microsoft Auto Update hung for hours

- Reinstalled MS Auto Update and was able to update MS apps  
- Excel Stocks working fine yesterday

This morning: Received error message: "COULDN'T REFRESH DATA TYPES We need to fix your account. Select Microsoft Excel from the top menu > Sign Out. Then sign back in with the account associated with a subscription."

Steps Taken:
Signed out of Office 365; signed back in. No change, and "Stocks" is missing.
Hard Reboot: No change, and "Stocks" is missing.
Scoured the forums online...pretty much tried everything that I could find...

Removed Office 365 Apps, reinstalled, rebooted, etc., signed in again, verified Connected Experiences all are on, and "Stocks" shows up as a menu item: however, when clicking on it, the same error message appears ('COULDN'T REFRESH DATA...").
Removed Office 365 another two times, reinstalled, rebooted, verified Connected Experiences, etc. etc. and no change.
Nothing has changed with my Office 365 subscription (still active, valid, no additional users, etc.).

Thoughts/Questions:

Is this a problem with the latest version of Office 365 (v16.66.1)?

- If so, is there a way to roll back to an earlier version that we know works (I have researched and not been able to find out how to do this.

Is this a problem with the latest version of macOS (Ventura v13.0)?

- If so, is there a way to roll back to a previous version of macOS?

If this isn't the right forum to solve this issue, can someone point me to where I can get assistance; I'm happy to pay a fee, as I'm over four hours of spinning my wheels with everything I've tried.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

    Agree. Everything works fine for me (Excel 16.71 + Mac OS 13.2.1)

    Hey Douglas,

    I know what you mean, as yesterday, it came back after several hours. My question to you: does your Stocks integration go missing from your menus? That's what's happening to me (after it stops working), and yes, I've tried everything that has ever been recommended from rebooting, relicensing, trying to add via the toolbar, making sure all apps and the OS are up-to-date, etc., as I've been down this path many, many, many times. In the past, aside from just sitting and waiting, the only thing that worked was rolling back to an earlier version of 365.

    This morning, had the same problem...stopped working, then eventually on the fifth sign-out/sign-in/re-boot, Excel Stocks just disappears from the menu all together.

    Hi,

    My spreadsheet is designed for data analysis on the S & P 500. There are roughly 500 stocks that make up the S & P 500 (the index is not exact, sometimes a few less, sometimes a few more). Each of those stocks lives on its own column on a worksheet. The worksheet depends on which SPDR Sector the stock is in so there is a separate worksheet for each sector.

    I use the StockHistory dynamic formula to automatically update all stocks when I open the worksheet. That means at the top of each column is the StockHistory formula for that individual stock.

    I don't have anything special on the menu.

    I find that opening the spreadsheet during market hours can sometimes lead to corruption, I am sure of the data that comes from Refinitive. The entire workbook is pretty complex. That means I usually open it in the morning prior to the market opening.

    I also use the Stocks formula in a different spreadsheet again located in actual cells not the menu in order to keep me updated live on sector positions I hold.

    All my analysis tells me to not be in the markets much lately and specifically not to be in the SPDR sectors since it is a trend following strategy and there really are no useful trends. Long story short is that I haven't used it recently.

    Have you tried just typing the formula in a cell?

    I have a complex sheet--over 100 symbols with a dozen plus data points and another few dozen calculations per symbol, and then multiply that by a half dozen individual workbooks...I've been at this a long time! My question is does your stock function disappear from your menu ever?
