Hello All, you might know that " Microsoft has blocked Macros from running through internet" do we have any permanent solution on this? I have tried the below solution which doesn't work. Save the file to a local hard drive, network share, or cloud share like OneDrive. Open Windows File Explorer and go to the folder where you saved the file. Right-click the file and choose Properties from the context menu. At the bottom of the General tab, you should see a section for Security. Select the Unblock checkbox and select OK. Also, tried to enable Macros through Macros settings through Trust center but didn't work? is there any permanent solution on this? Thanks, AMit

Same here. Trying to run Access macros and this idiotic error suddenly popups up. I created the macros and so should be able to decide if they're trustworthy. My report-writing business runs on macros! Enabling VB module and changing security no longer works. God this company is way too in my life. I can't stand jerking around with the OS and Office. I don't have to deal with this endless **** from any other programs!

Hi Edwine, Thanks for the response. The "Unlock" checkbox does not show in the Properties / General window. It was a file that I developed myself and is not from the internet. Hello All,

you might know that " Microsoft has blocked Macros from running through internet" do we have any permanent solution on this?

I have tried the below solution which doesn't work.

Hi,

I think I found a solution to my problem.

The solution is to re-map the network drive to the fileserver name first and then adding that mapped directory to the trusted locations in excel.

Mapped Location:

\fileserver\networkdirectory and not \[192.xxx.xxx.xxx]\networkdirectory

Hope it helps someone out there.
