Microsoft Access Memory Issue after December 6 2022 Build15831 Office Update

I've found that Access programs are running out of memory or getting system resources exceeded errors after the recent office update. If I open task manager and watch the memory resources the continue to go up and are never released like they normally do. This was not an issue until the update last week. Working in O365 32 bit access.

Anyone else experiencing this?

    I have not tested all of my apps but as of now it is one accdb having the issue. It's split with Sql backend. So I've had about 10 customers with the issue and each just received the office update. No updates or changes on my end.

    I edited the 2nd message. I'm seeing growth when running queries but after closing the query it stays at the same memory usage.

    It may be a bit early to conclude this is a bug from the update, but I'll pass it along anyway. Also, can you confirm the breadth of the problem? Is it limited to one accdb or to all of them you use? Oh, and other environmental factors as well? Split accdb with FE on users computers and a BE on a network? Same performance problem for all users? And so on. The more details you can provide, the more likely it will be someone can help identify a possible source for the problem.

    This is running accdb or accde.

    Testing in Win 10 Pro 64 bit.

    From my troubleshooting I'm seeing growth when running large queries but after closing the query it stays at the same memory usage.

    Thanks for letting us know. I haven't seen any other reports yet.

    Can you provide a screenshot of the version info in your Access installation, showing build number?

    Does it impact any accdb, or only some accdbs? Often, having more details available about an environment help others identify and understand context and potential reasons for a problem.
