OneNote Error E000006B blg57

Hi for the last 48 hours i have been getting this error in OneNote. i have the latest updates of software installed for both my mac and onenote on mac.

E000006B blg57

Any help would be very appreciated as its affecting my work, im a teacher and use this a digital workbook for my classes.

Just got this as part of my support case, looks like it should be OK now.

There was service degradation: OP283538

More info: Impact was specific to all versions of Microsoft OneNote excluding OneNote 2016 and web client. Windows 10 desktop client, iOS and Android mobile app versions were all impacted.

Final status: We've confirmed that a recent deployment intended to provide optimizations for service stability inadvertently introduced a regression in service logic, resulting in impact. We've reverted the affecting change and confirmed that impact is mitigated.

Start time: Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 5:30 PM UTC

End time: Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 7:00 PM UTC

Root cause: A recent deployment intended to provide optimizations for service stability inadvertently introduced a regression in service logic, resulting in impact.

The service is restored now.

    Same issue her both my OneNote for Windows 10 and iPhone and iPad have it error

    „Users got the error 'E000006B blg57' and cannot sync OneNote notebooks when using the desktop/mobile app.“

    I have the same issue, using a Surface Pro 7 with Windows 11 (Insider Preview).

    The Sync-Error occurs only when I use the „One-Note for Windows 10“ App from the AppStore. Everything works fine with the regular Office 365 Version.

    I got the same Error Message - when I try to create a new Notebook in the OneNote (Win 10 App) then I get the error Message, that it is not possible, no connection to the Network …

    Same issue at our school, it is effecting all our teachers and students, (250+ users), on the iOS app and the OneNote for Windows 10 app on our Windows 10 PC's it works fine in the browser though but this is missing many features.

    Same issue here on OneNote across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, for the past three days approximately, on all of the notebooks (stored in 'consumer' OneDrive). It's either showing this exact error on all of the devices, or it simply says that the notebook is 'offline'.

    Some changes do sync, however, but the error remains.

    Notebooks not previously synced to the device also often do not open as OneNote is stuck on 'Loading page...'.
