OneNote Error E000006B blg57

Hi for the last 48 hours i have been getting this error in OneNote. i have the latest updates of software installed for both my mac and onenote on mac.

E000006B blg57

Any help would be very appreciated as its affecting my work, im a teacher and use this a digital workbook for my classes.

Just got this as part of my support case, looks like it should be OK now.

There was service degradation: OP283538

More info: Impact was specific to all versions of Microsoft OneNote excluding OneNote 2016 and web client. Windows 10 desktop client, iOS and Android mobile app versions were all impacted.

Final status: We've confirmed that a recent deployment intended to provide optimizations for service stability inadvertently introduced a regression in service logic, resulting in impact. We've reverted the affecting change and confirmed that impact is mitigated.

Start time: Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 5:30 PM UTC

End time: Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 7:00 PM UTC

Root cause: A recent deployment intended to provide optimizations for service stability inadvertently introduced a regression in service logic, resulting in impact.

The service is restored now.

    Yes, the others also have tha same issue with the free version of one note application. None of the one note books are openning in the One note for Windows 10 app. The files are openning and syncing in web app and also in One Note only (Not the One note for windows 10 version). I also tried to backup and re upload the one note files and still One note for Windows 10 are not able to fetch the files. This problem also happens with the android app.

    Hello,

    We share the same notepad between different users on Mac.

    Those under version One Note in version 16.16.27 synchronize very well. On the other hand, those in version 16.52. have the timing issues you described.

    Just had this back from MS, it still isn't showing up as a service incident in the Office 365 Admin Center though.

    The staff and students at my school reported it was working fine last night and was working ok in school very early this morning, however it is going back to not working again.

    Seems like some sort of capacity issue as you say!
