How to disable Files On-Demand in OneDrive MacOS? It's enforced since the last update ...

For OneDrive home and business, I cannot disable Files-On-Demand since the last update. This is crucial, I need full access to my files at all time.

What is going on? Why would you enforce Files On-Demand on your customers, isn't it enough to enable it by default? My 70GB of cloud data is not local anymore, sometimes I have no internet, you are locking me away from my files. Also making it impossible for me to do full text searches. Files On-Demand is also too slow, waiting a second to display folder contents is too much when you organize things in deep folder structures.

How I can disable Files On-Demand? Will you please stop knowing the best for your customers? We aren't toddlers. Thanks!

If Files On-Demand is enforced by policy, I will leave your cloud service once and for all.

    Check to see if your files were "migrated" to this location instead of deleted:

    /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.OneDriveStandaloneSuite/OneDrive.noindex/OneDrive

    Thanks for checking but as you say, all trust is gone. As if I’d ever trust them again after deleting all my work files from my Mac. Still crazy to think they did that.

    MS issued a new version of Onedrive 22.033.0213.0002 that appears to return the option of downloading all your files on to your computer. You can click a button that says it will download all Onedrive files 'now'. Do not believe it, it does not. I guess that if you click on each individual file it might download it, but the statement that all the files will be downloaded 'now' is a lie.

    Trust in MS has gone, not sure I will ever come back as I do not know when they will do something similarly stupid in the future.

    Ruined my workflow, ruined my "Mac experience". Hey Apple!!!! OneDrive is a Trojan!!! Now I'm angry as ****!!!!!! Moving to a NextCloud service. I'm not in the US but... can anyone sue this **** to oblivion, please??????

    Dear Microsoft,

    I want a simple setting that lets me sync my entire OneDrive to multiple computers. Like in the olden days. I'm cool with it being in the cloud, too, but I feel better when I have multiple backups locally. Also, I use two computers for regular work, so yeah. I need access to the files and have gotten used to the idea that I don't have to treat one computer as a Samba server -- even though that is a nice work-around during these dark ages when OneDrive doesn't work properly with Macs.

    While I'm here: Please give me some kind of "sync now" option. I don't love waiting 2-5 minutes for a tiny little file to synchronize from one computer to the cloud then down to the other computer. Not a very good workflow. Makes customers angry.
