Word (Mac) Zoom issues

Hi, I´m working in Microsoft Office 365 for Mac. When zooming in on my trackpad the view jumps to a random page while the curser stays where I was trying to zoom in. I've tried reinstalling Word and have done all updates available.

Any suggestions?

    Why is this still not fixed months later?

    It impacts every day use of the product (that we pay for)

    I got the same issue and I am on macOS Monterey (12.1) and it is very frustrating especially because I write my thesis on word.
