Word (Mac) Zoom issues

Hi, I´m working in Microsoft Office 365 for Mac. When zooming in on my trackpad the view jumps to a random page while the curser stays where I was trying to zoom in. I've tried reinstalling Word and have done all updates available.

Any suggestions?

    I've seen people discussing this issue on other forums as early as July 2021...

    It's been 8 months and they haven't done anything... Hundreds of users are complaining. It's insulting from such a wealthy company that provides one of the most widely used software in the world (and adopted the monthly payments subscription format)...

    Hi,

    it's been a while - I'm the one who opended this tread back in September. I'm still having the problem and in my case Word jumps to a random page every time I zoom in even if there isn't an image on the page (or the document).

    Thanks for all the replies, I can't believe this has not been fixed yet!

    Just one observation on this very annoying problem - in my hands, the zoom bug only occurs if there is an image on the page. If the page only has text, pinch to zoom works fine. To be more precise, if there is only text, there is a slight shift after zooming (still not perfect), while if there is an image on the page Word moves to focus on a completely different page after zooming. Do others see the same thing?
