Convert handwriting to text with Apple Pencil on onenote with iPad Pro

Hello i have recently started using onenote to take notes for my classes, however i enjoy using handwriting with my apple pencil and having it converted into text like i have with other apps. There is no “ink to text”, only a “ink to shape”

    Looks like I’m going to be sticking to Notability. Does just about the same stuff but has handwriting to text. Oh well and way to miss out on my business. Apple Pages, Keynote, and Numbers will suffice for my business suite and Notability will handle my note taking. Saved me some coin at this point. Thanks for shunning the Apple community.

    We’ve got an update from our Internal Support team and we’ve verified that the Ink to Text option is only available on OneNote for Windows 10.

    In line with this, we would like to have our engineers be aware of the conern. I would recommend posting your concern on our OneNote UserVoice ****as Microsoft continuously strives to improve its products and to provide a better experience to its consumers. 

    Your entry in the UserVoice will help our support engineers to gather data on how they can improve Outlook and its features and this will also represent other community members who also wanted the same feature suggestion. Our engineers responses may also depend on the upvotes on the current entry.

    These threads have been going on since 2019. Where’s the movement on supporting ink to text?? This is ridiculous

    Microsoft didn't take it seriously while competing note-taking software did much much better on iPad OS.

    Same issue here but I guess I will switch to apple notes app. To bad MS is not able to fix this in YEARS AND YEARS of complaint.
