I work with a document some others has created. In the document Enter has been jused quite many times to create/start a new line. When I use Backspace or Delete to remove the line and tie the sentencens together and then add a space between the sentences, then the cursor jumps all the way to the end of the document.
When a turn off Track Changes, then it does not happen. I would assume this to be an error/flaw i MS Word and wonder if it is a workaround for the issue or if it would be fixed. I need to have Track Changes enabled.

Version 16.49 is Office for Mac, I believe. I recommend that you start a separate thread.
Also a professional editor here, often working with huge documents. I have Word 365 on my Win10 desktop (wired mouse, wired keyboard) and on my Win10 laptop. Various keystrokes (usually CTRL-arrows) on both machines have been triggering random jumps throughout the document and it is driving me INSAAANE! It happens several times an hour and it's seriously affecting my work. And I'm actually paying for this software! >:-(

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have found some (not complete) relief by editing with Simple Markup on rather than No Markup or All Markup. I have also found that when the cursor jumps (in my case to the last page of whatever document I'm working on), I can hit Control Z; that will take me back to the page I left and undo the last edit I made (usually hitting the space bar). I then open up Show All Changes, edit my way past the point that prompted the jump, and then turn on Simple Markup again.
