I totally feel your pain. I think we need to get hold of Bill Gates directly somehow

I work with a document some others has created. In the document Enter has been jused quite many times to create/start a new line. When I use Backspace or Delete to remove the line and tie the sentencens together and then add a space between the sentences, then the cursor jumps all the way to the end of the document.
When a turn off Track Changes, then it does not happen. I would assume this to be an error/flaw i MS Word and wonder if it is a workaround for the issue or if it would be fixed. I need to have Track Changes enabled.

Dealing with same problem
It's August from Microsoft and people still complaining. I'm working on a 300 page dissertation and and stopped dead because of this stupid error. Fix it Microsoft!
I have sent a message to ******@gatesnotes.com as follows. I have asked for a read receipt.
Dear Mr Gates
We as the editing community across the globe and subscribers to MSWord 365 have been having endless problems with this since a recent update – there are literally hundreds of messages about this. Noone responds from your call centre and no one seems able or willing to fix it.
Please assist as a matter of urgency.
We are wasting so much time jumping backwards and forwards
Your swift attention to this problem would be highly appreciated.
Kind regards
Jacqui
