I work with a document some others has created. In the document Enter has been jused quite many times to create/start a new line. When I use Backspace or Delete to remove the line and tie the sentencens together and then add a space between the sentences, then the cursor jumps all the way to the end of the document.
When a turn off Track Changes, then it does not happen. I would assume this to be an error/flaw i MS Word and wonder if it is a workaround for the issue or if it would be fixed. I need to have Track Changes enabled.

The view is one example, yes. (Personally, I almost exclusively work in Print Layout view, so I tend not to see any issues that affect other views.)

I edit in Print Layout view. I don't know whether it's pertinent or not.
HOWEVER, it's been MONTHS and WE'RE STILL SITTING HERE LIKE IDIOTS wondering WHAT IS MICROSOFT DOING, if anything, about this horrible problem?!?
I have no information beyond what I have already posted. Microsoft has filed the issue mentioned in the other thread as a bug and it is being investigated.
How fast an issue will be fixed will depend on many factors. My guess is that some of these factors are how serious the issue is, how many users are affected etc. Exactly how priorities are made has not been shared with the group of Microsoft MVPs.

I'm basically hearing MS telling us, "Your livelihood isn't a high priority for us, so good luck and have a nice day."
Since you mention switching between "All Markup" and "Simple Markup," are you saying that the issue occurs with just one of these views?
Yes, for me this issue happens only when I am tracking changes but in "No Markup" mode, not in "All Markup" mode. It happens inconsistently and unpredictably.
It happens for me in "Simple Markup", the one I prefer to work in. The only mode it doesn't happen in is "All Markup", but that's an absolutely useless mode to work in when you're doing a heavy edit.
