Microsoft powerpoint on Ipad Air keeps crashing

Hello,

For the past week and a half, the microsoft powerpoint app on the ipad continuously has been crashing whenever I try to use it. Prior to this, it worked just fine but the problems started recently. It sometimes crashes when i try to open a powerpoint, and sometimes crashes mid note taking after working for several minutes. I use this app for class and I have an exam coming up, and it has been very frustrating trying to take notes when my latest notes keep disappearing every time it crashes. Is there any way this can be fixed?

I have looked at other people who have had the same issues. I have tried restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating. None of it has worked so far. In terms of file sizes even presentations that worked perfectly before are crashing now. I cannot recall if there was an app update in the past week or so, but other than that there have been no changes to the ipad or powerpoint. My ios is up to date and so is the app.

    Hello,

    I’ve tried to follow these steps and my iPad still isn’t working with PowerPoint. PowerPoint keeps crashing. I have an iPad mini 4 running on the latest iOS.

    This is also happening to me as well. I have the new iPad Air and the powerpoint app crashes within 1-2 minutes of opening it. I can't even be on the app long enough to try to send my notes to a different app which is extremely frustrating as I am trying to study for medical school. Is there any update yet?

    I am also having this issue! Despite re-starting my iPad, deleting and re-installing PowerPoint, and following the Microsoft recommendation from above, nothing has helped. The app keeps crashing and my work is not saved, which significantly affects my productivity.

    I am having this problem too!!! I have the latest iPad Air and the app worked well for a few weeks and not it will not open or load any documents, even if it manages to open a document it crashes within seconds again. Incredibly inconvenient when it happens in the middle of lectures and I’m unable to use my ipad. I have restarted several times and restored my iPad to factory settings to see if anything helped, still not working though.

    Yep, the same problem that had been solved a few weeks ago is BACK, unbelievable

    @Microsoft: what are you going to propose? I am paying my license fee and have now since a few moths a Powerpoint that his unusable!
