Microsoft powerpoint on Ipad Air keeps crashing

Hello,

For the past week and a half, the microsoft powerpoint app on the ipad continuously has been crashing whenever I try to use it. Prior to this, it worked just fine but the problems started recently. It sometimes crashes when i try to open a powerpoint, and sometimes crashes mid note taking after working for several minutes. I use this app for class and I have an exam coming up, and it has been very frustrating trying to take notes when my latest notes keep disappearing every time it crashes. Is there any way this can be fixed?

I have looked at other people who have had the same issues. I have tried restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating. None of it has worked so far. In terms of file sizes even presentations that worked perfectly before are crashing now. I cannot recall if there was an app update in the past week or so, but other than that there have been no changes to the ipad or powerpoint. My ios is up to date and so is the app.

@ Microsoft: this non responsiveness is unacceptable! Is there anybody who is willing or capable of reacting? We are your customers, we pay subscriptions, in their turn helping paying your salaries… this is unbelievable!

Everyone that is having this issue needs to go to the app and submit a feedback response. Also, go to the app store and leave a low rating. This is the only way to get the ball rolling on getting them to fix this issue.

I have the same issue since my last back up. I went to setting logged into ICloud and did a refresh for PPT. It is now working..
