Microsoft powerpoint on Ipad Air keeps crashing

Hello,

For the past week and a half, the microsoft powerpoint app on the ipad continuously has been crashing whenever I try to use it. Prior to this, it worked just fine but the problems started recently. It sometimes crashes when i try to open a powerpoint, and sometimes crashes mid note taking after working for several minutes. I use this app for class and I have an exam coming up, and it has been very frustrating trying to take notes when my latest notes keep disappearing every time it crashes. Is there any way this can be fixed?

I have looked at other people who have had the same issues. I have tried restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating. None of it has worked so far. In terms of file sizes even presentations that worked perfectly before are crashing now. I cannot recall if there was an app update in the past week or so, but other than that there have been no changes to the ipad or powerpoint. My ios is up to date and so is the app.

One work around is to print the PowerPoint into OneNote and take notes in OneNote on the PowerPoint. Just print it from Desktop or insert the file into onenote from onedrive. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

I’ve been using PowerPoint in the Office Suite app for awhile now and it appears to be working. It’s the best “solution” so far - in the absence of a Microsoft fix. The cost is $30/year.

I’ve been having this issue for a month now and thought it was a one drive to ppt connection error but what is seems is an incompatibility with ppt and the new iOS update. Which no one have solved ! I learn strictly from writing notes on my iPad and it’s so irritating I could cry. How am I supposed to learn ! This should not be happening and it’s totally unacceptable that’s it’s been happening for 3 months now ! And for 2, MS hasn’t responded. At All!!! I need help.

I’m having the same issue with everyone.

Tried everything I could, still not working. Where are those Microsoft agents? Any update? Are you guys gonna fix it anytime soon?

Literally having the same issue as everyone. Ive tried contacting Microsoft, absolutely useless and a waste of time. They have the same exact responses over and over. Anyone have a different app to recommend because Microsoft has disappointed me so much (beyond my normal level of disappointment of them)
