Hello,
For the past week and a half, the microsoft powerpoint app on the ipad continuously has been crashing whenever I try to use it. Prior to this, it worked just fine but the problems started recently. It sometimes crashes when i try to open a powerpoint, and sometimes crashes mid note taking after working for several minutes. I use this app for class and I have an exam coming up, and it has been very frustrating trying to take notes when my latest notes keep disappearing every time it crashes. Is there any way this can be fixed?
I have looked at other people who have had the same issues. I have tried restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating. None of it has worked so far. In terms of file sizes even presentations that worked perfectly before are crashing now. I cannot recall if there was an app update in the past week or so, but other than that there have been no changes to the ipad or powerpoint. My ios is up to date and so is the app.

I have an iPad Air 4th gen (2020) with iOS 15.1 installed and using the latest Powerpoint app, with a 365 subscription by my organisation. The app sometimes doesn't even load, sometmes crashes within minutes, usually whenever I'm using the Apple pencil 2nd gen.
I have an iPad Air 4th gen and I am having the same issues as others with PowerPoint crashing and this is seriously affecting my productivity and is making my tutoring job impossible. I have tried reinstalling, I have tried resetting. Same issue on mY iPhone XS Max. All iOS and apps updated to the newest versions. I need this issue sorting now Microsoft please. I’m on Microsoft 365 Personal. PowerPoints are being opened from my OneDrive. PowerPoint simply shuts down as soon as or shortly after opening the app.
I’ve moved my business to Notability to take notes during lectures and I have yet to have a problem, plus I can record lectures while writing notes on it. All you guys should check it out! I think it was like $8-9 for the app.
I’ve been using the Office Docs Suite on my iPad for almost 2 months without issue. It’s an extra $30, but well worth it at this point. Surely Microsoft will make it right at some point.
