Why is it when I copy cells from Excel and paste it into Gmail, the cells are pasted as an Image?

I usually copy and paste cells from Microsoft Excel to Gmail for work, this was was being pasted as an table of text that I could edit.

Then my computer was reformatted because of some issues and now after trying to use it again for work, I tried copying cells from Excel and pasting it in Gmail as usual, but now the cells aren't being pasted as a table, but as an image, like a screenshot of the cells. Could it be a software I had before or something?

Now the only way I can copy and paste cells from Excel is to go through Word, which adds an extra step.

I tried reinstalling MS Office, and it still didn't work, I'm currently using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019.

    Dear All

    in my case this problem persist is just because the antivirus was block it,

    then you can try to disable your anti-virus or setting the whitelist on it.

    in my case i use the avast... you can see this screenshot how to setting this

    Please share this solution by respond to this topic, maybe it can help other to solve the problem.

    Dear All

    You can try to De-Activate/Disable your antiVirus Provider you have, in my case its working using this way

    but iam still looking for the other solution without disabling my untivirus provider.

    please help me, if somebody know how to setting the both of edge and antivirus

    i have the same issue, but when i try to open my gmail on chrome and try to paste excel table to it, its work fine.

    but when i use my edge it does not work and the result paste becoming an image.

    i dont have any issue before it, it suddenly happens when i installing avast anti track and antivirus then this problem persists on my edge.

    I switched browsers and it worked.

    It seems this issue shows up now and then - sometimes on all browsers, multiple browsers -- or just one. Try switching to all the different browsers that are now available online. And yes, I know -- what a pain!

    That's the fix of the day -- might not work tomorrow. : P

    Trying the plain text mode didn't work for me as I am trying to paste a table which is formatted. So that plain text mode won't work in this case. But when I copied and pasted the same content from an excel to a google sheet is worked and when I pasted that content back to the Gmail it worked like a table. So I think if it is not working trying doing if you haven't find any other solution for this problem. Thanks!
