I usually copy and paste cells from Microsoft Excel to Gmail for work, this was was being pasted as an table of text that I could edit.
Then my computer was reformatted because of some issues and now after trying to use it again for work, I tried copying cells from Excel and pasting it in Gmail as usual, but now the cells aren't being pasted as a table, but as an image, like a screenshot of the cells. Could it be a software I had before or something?
Now the only way I can copy and paste cells from Excel is to go through Word, which adds an extra step.
I tried reinstalling MS Office, and it still didn't work, I'm currently using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019.

Issue is resolved now. I did not have to do anything at my end.

And I received an email today from google saying : "Thanks for all your patience. The matter has been escalated and we'll update you as soon as possible."
Is there any open public google thread?
We would need to abandon it too then.

The Gmail support is aware of the issue , so lets hope for a quick fix asap.
