OneNote Bengali Language problem

I am still facing the same issue on my android phone. I typed with প্রভাত বাংলা ( Probhat Bengali) keyboard. In desktop it is showing perfectly fine but when I try to open the same note using a android device the fonts are broken

Yeah, man! Still face the issue on my Android Application too! Though I have been trying to solve this problem on my own (And I successfully solved the broken/crazy bengali font issue on the Windows OneNote desktop app too. N.B. I will give you updates through my blog if I could find out something or, some sort of solutions on this OneNote android app version. Till then you can use the desktop app solution mentioned above, Maybe, it can fix this annoying font issue along with your Android app version. Thanks 😊

I am a SwiftKey user since 6 years, and always had this issue with Onenote android. Still not resolved since when I first tried Onenote android in 2017.

The desktop version works without any issue. However, I have found a way to fix the font breaking problem, - though it is not a viable solution.

I wrote in other apps (like Colornote or Google Keep) and then copy-pasted in in Onenote. Now I synced all the notes. Then Changed the font-face on PC Onenote application. Used Shonar Bangla and Nirmala UI. The fonts got corrected on PC, and after another sync, android version shows corrected font. But, I can't edit it on Android, as it breaks the fonts again.

Best solution to the problem:

1. Use Google Indic Keyboard to write/type Bangla.
2. If you use SwiftKey Keyboard or any other keyboard with which fonts are breaking, then use other apps such as Word, Google Docs, WPS Office, Keep notes, etc. to type Bangla. And then Copy-Paste the writings in OneNote. Do not use the quick paste feature in SwiftKey Keyboard. Paste the text by tap and hold.
3. Type Bangla in the Sticky Note feature inside the OneNote app. Then Copy-Paste the text from sticky notes to the page of OneNote. I use this feature, because I'm a long time user of SwiftKey, and can't ditch it. But sometimes I also use Google Indic Keyboard to type directly to OneNote pages, to save time.
4. If you have a Samsung Galaxy Device, you can use Samsung Keyboard too, without any issues.

সমস্যাটির সহজতম সমাধান :

১. Google Indic Keyboard ব্যবহার করে বাংলা লিখুন OneNote এ। কোনো ফন্ট ভাঙার সমস্যা হবে না।

২. যদি আপনারা SwiftKey Keyboard ব্যবহার করছেন, বা এমন কোনো Keyboard app, যাতে ফন্ট ভেঙে যাচ্ছে, - সেক্ষেত্রে: প্রথমে Word, WPS Office, Google Docs বা Keep Notes ইত্যাদির যে কোনো একটি app এ বাংলা লিখুন। তারপরে সেই লেখাগুলো কপি করে, পেস্ট করুন OneNote app এ। এতে ফন্ট ভাঙছে না। .... পেস্ট করার জন্য SwiftKey Keyboard এর quick paste অপশন ব্যবহার করবেন না। সরাসরি touch and hold করে পেস্ট করুন।

৩. OneNote app এর ভেতরেই আছে Sticky Notes. সেখানে যে কোনো Keyboard ব্যবহার করে বাংলা লিখুন। তারপর সেই লেখা কপি করে OneNote এর page এ পেস্ট করে দিন।. আমি এই পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার করি, কারণ আমি বহুবছর ধরে SwiftKey এর ব্যবহারকারী, যা ছেড়ে দেওয়া অসম্ভব। কিন্তু কখনো কখনো আমি সরাসরি সহজে type করার জন্য Google Indic Keyboard ও ব্যবহার করি।

৪. যদি আপনি কোনো স্যামসং ডিভাইস ব্যবহার করেন, তাহলে Samsung Keyboard ব্যবহার করে বাংলা লিখতে পারেন। ফন্ট ভাঙছে না এতে।
