I have used the Merge to Email feature in Word to merge emails to Outlook hundreds of time. It isn't currently working. I use a Mac.
I've restarted my computer.
I've deleted Microsoft Office apps and reinstalled
I've created a new document with no formatting
I've changed fonts (to Calibir Light, to Times New Roman)
Have tried with two different email accounts and two different computers within my organizatoin
and still nothing....
It will either send one email to the first name in my Excel listing of emails or nothing at all. Always get the same error message.

The issue has been fixed in the 16.40 update that will be released on patch Tuesday next week.
If you're able to, go into microsoft update and click "Advanced" and then change the Update Channel to "Insider Slow"
The 16.40 version is available there. Haven't tested it yet.

It is Tuesday and I am still unable to email a personalized version of my document to numerous Excel contacts via Outlook. It worked fine until now. When will the problem be fixed?
I downloaded and installed 16.38 but the AutoUpdate quickly updated that to 16.39. Check the version in the About menu item to be sure it is 16.38. You may need to turn off auto update.
To run AutoUpdate press Cmd-Space to open the search, type in autoupdate and that should show the Microsoft AutoUpdate program. Open that (double click) then in there turn off Auto Update.
You will need to reinstall the 16.38 version ...
