OneNote shows weird line when drawing (also lags when drawing) Huion Kamvas Pro

Hi everyone,

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I have a link to a video showing the issue here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VqyMS33GUQ&feature=youtu.be .

This problem only happens when using my tablet's pen to draw, if I switch to mouse mode, it works fine. I also experience weird lag when using the pen, which you can briefly see in the video.

I really enjoy using OneNote and I don't want to stop, however if I can't get rid of this bug I have no alternative but to find another program. Here are some things I have tried to fix the solution.

  1. Reinstallation. I have reinstalled the product, event completely removing it through powershell then reinstalling it by following some guides, the issue persists.
  2. Looking in settings. I have looked through the settings enabling and disabling multiple options to no avail.
  3. Starting a new page/notebook. I have tried starting a fresh page, and the problem still persists.
  4. Messing with tablet settings. I have messed with my wacom tablet's settings, recalibrating the touch pen and everything but nothing seems to work.

The exact tablet I'm using is this: https://www.amazon.com/HUION-KAMVAS-Pro-Sensitivity-Bar-15-6inch/dp/B07S7BCTWW

If anyone could point me to a solution I would be very grateful.

I'm currently seeing this bug in both OneNote for Windows 10 and Snip & Sketch. I have the 2020-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 (KB4566782) running. No issues with MS Whiteboard & Google Jamboard. Using a Wacom Intuos.

I have no idea what happened, but the problem magically disappeared in all of the notetaking apps. :o

I am dumbstruck as in....  I have no explanation of what on earth could have happened. :O

I'm not sure if they may have updated OneNote itself as well, because it's working again for me too. I'm glad it's fixed, not sure if the FeedbackHub was the cause, or this thread, but I'll just accept the fact that it's working again haha.

Okay. I just uninstalled the latest driver for Kamvas Pro 16 Premium and installed the earliest driver that's available on Huion's website,

Driver_14.7.154.586(2019-05-24). The same problem persists. I wouldn't know it had been working fine since I only started using this tablet a couple of days ago, but if it had been working fine for you all, then I guess like J_B39 have mentioned, it could be due to the recent

    Windows updates....

KB4565503 and KB4565627 reinstalled today. The system is now up to date and the pen still working. To me it does make sense an update is causing this because we all experienced it in the last few days/weeks, it doesn't make sense uninstalling/reinstalling an update solves it though...
