    V this is not what I was expecting

    1. 13 rows should be merged and 13  lines should have been removed. total lines 172 minus 11 = remaining lines 161
    2. the macro should leave active sheet intact and the results should posted in new table (10 lines where description is Income Paid and 1 line with closing balance

    The macro merges two rows

    119 and 120

    149 and 150

    You will need to change the formula in master table. Put following formula in F119

    =IF(OR(A119=A120,A120=""),IF(B119="Closing Balance",C119+C120+D119+D120,D120))

    This will make sure that your formula is executed even if A120 is blank.

    Hi V

     I ran your code and the only lines that were merged are line 119 and 120

    Instead of false the amount should be $217,924.83

    Is there something I'm doing wrong?
