    That is good that you are online. Your problem description is that - Merge cells where dates are same and description is Closing balance.

    I see only cells which are highlighted in yellow meeting this criteria.

    Please confirm if my interpretation is right or not.

    Also taking example of rows 119 and 120, you need A119 and A120 to be merged. And B119 and B120 to be merged. You don't want columns C, D and E to be merged in this case.
