Copy and Paste Text from OneNote mobile iOS app to the Messages App

When I try to copy and paste text from the OneNote mobile iOS app to the Messages app, it pastes an HTML file with the text instead of only the text.  This is a new issue. In the past, I was always able to copy text from OneNote, and paste the text to the Messages app.  I cannot find any settings in the OneNote app or the Messages app that would seem to help.

    I too have the same issue - it posts as an html file when pasting from Onenote to messages. Hoping Apple releases an update soon.

    You’re not alone. I have the same problem. Cutting/pasting to another App then cutting/pasting to message is a pain but works as a workaround. Looking forward to a solution folks.

    I spent time with Apple Support a few weeks ago and they were able to reproduce it. They thought it was most likely that OneNote needs to be updated.
