Copy and Paste Text from OneNote mobile iOS app to the Messages App

Thanks for the response.   This did not work for me but it did lead me to another option which may be helpful in some instances.  

The problem is that it doesn't always give you the sharing option, depending on what you select on a page.  

For example:

Basic Text or Hyperlink - Works

Cut, Copy, Select All, Paste, Speak, Replace, Define, Share & Spell

All or part of a table - doesn’t work

Cut, Copy, Paste, Alt Text, Speak Selection

So my guess that issue is a data consistency issue.  

Another Good Option

If you are ok sending the entire page as a PDF is to hit the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the sheet.  From there you will see many options including Send a Copy of Page. This will then a give you the same methods to share based on your preferences.  

Because hitting tab automatically creates tables in OneNote, all if my notes seem to have tables; otherwise, this wouldn't be an option.   

This will continue to be a problem for me because tables are very handy.  For example, i keep all of our frequent flier and passport info in a single table but also have other tables in the same page.  If i want quickly

send my daugher her info alone, i cant.  This is not an issue with evernote.

Agree completely, started with a recent ios update. So far no post “solution” has helped me yet. I am giving up it will be fixed and just deal with it i guess. Or move to a different note package. Thanks!

That's interesting because it has never worked for me since i have switched from Evernote approx 1.5 years ago.  There is a painful workaround, by which you can use a buffer like notes to paste the text into and then copy from there and paste to an iMessage, but this needs to be fixed already.

Agreed. My issue began recently after an ios update. Before then no problems since i started using it 5 years ago.
