How to display Horizontal Lines of a Table

Hi,

I am trying to display Horizontal lines of a table. Somebody please guide me how to do that?

Looking at your screenshots, I see that you have single cells in your table with many lines of text. You do not have a single table "row" for each line of text.

You cannot enable internal borders because there are no internal borders. No gridlines will display inside a cell.

See the screenshot below. Note the end-of-cell markers.

    1. Under Table Tools, on the Layout tab, in the Merge group, click Split Cells.

    Try turning on display of non-printing characters.

    Ctrl+Shift+8 (Ctrl+*)

    I suspect the problem table is a single cell without multiple table rows, simply multiple lines within one table.

    Have you tried repairing your Office 2016>Right click on the Windows 10 Start Button>Choose Apps and features>Scroll down to your Microsoft Office 2016>Click on it>Choose 'Modify'>Quick repair.  If that does not work try online repair.  This will reinstall your Office and you will need to sign in with the Microsoft email address and password for the Office  Account.
