Office 365 Planner Gantt Charts

We have a requirement to list all of our upcoming tasks on Gantt Charts.

I would like to use Microsoft teams and planner to enter the tasks.

Is there a way I can create / Download this data to Gantt style charts?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for posting in our forum.

We can use Planner in Teams and work on plan from within Teams or in Planner for web. We fully understand that it would be more convenient if the tasks can be shown in Gantt chart in Planner. However, for now, Gantt Chart is not available in Planner.

Fortunately, based on this thread in Planner UserVoice, the related team confirmed that this feature will be available in Planner later in this year.  We suggest that you monitor this thread for the firsthand update. Let’s wait for this view together.

Great question, We gave up on ever receiving a response and went with a different product that delivers what we need.

    Disappointing this still is not ready. The initial promise of 2019 clearly was missed. 

    Like many others, we will have to use another solution and not planner.

    It seems that improving planner is not a real issue for MS.

    They prefer to promote MS Project. But this is really to much and to expensive for simple projects.

    At the moment they bring "tasks", "to do" and "planner" together in one app "to dos".

    But a "gantt lite" for "micro projects" seems not to be on the screen of MS.

    So I write, because, if the threat lives, it may be seen  ...

    We received the same answer last year and we all waiting patiently.

    Other solution are really developing fast in this area. For example Smartsheet has the canban view, gantt view and calendar view.

    Monday as well.

    Please do not lets us down this time.
