Hi all,

Since version 2001 2430.20050 , Excel is no longer responding as it should :

  • Save as - Browse : no exporer window is shown
  • New file - Save : file is not saved, on exit excel the confirmation window is shown every time over when replying "yes" on the question to save the file
  • file - options - addins - manage excel addins : when clicking the button, excel crashes

Tried this on different hardware with different accounts, they all react the same.

A solution is highly apreciated.

Best regards,

Kris

The 2001 version (16.0.12430.20050) has problems, I resolved by reverting to the previous version 1912 (16.0.12325.20288)

Running the command on the folder to resolve is as follows:

    folder: "% programfiles% \ Common Files \ Microsoft Shared \ ClickToRun \

    command: officec2rclient.exe / update user updatetoversion = 16.0.12325.20288
