Me too, my problem with Office for Mac 365 or 2016 has the same issues that 'Fedup' listed. An unbelievably tiny window that opens in the upper left corner of my 27 inch screen Mojave iMac. What a joke ! This is a bogus default setting which I and many others
have spent far too much time trying to reset.
An update to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. I don't know about others but this seems to be a Word (not Excel) issue but I could be wrong.
Also Word opens in Compatibility Mode but not Excel for some reason. All my Word and Excel files originate together from OFM 2011.
I would also like to see an improvement with OFM 2016, 2019 or 365 in a future update by adding the FILE TAB to the ribbon and having access to Word and Excel options. Windows users have these options and not Mac users. Why is this ? Should not be ! Even
when I try to customize the ribbon or the quick access toolbar, the FILE TAB is not even a Popular Command nor can it be located when I click on ALL Commands.
Then in Word help I type 'ribbon' in the search bar, the screenshot that is displayed shows the FILE TAB in the 'customize quick access toolbar' column but not on my iMac when I go there myself ! So much for Word Help::Even it can't keep up with the times!!
Who in the world came up with these ideas ?
I have noticed also that I am unable to clear all recent documents in one click on OFM 2016 but on 2011 you had that option. I have thousands of files and although this is not a major issue this option should be replaced rather than removed.
This is another example of where Word Options (if they existed) would really help.
Well ..... there's probably more but that's what I can come up with currently.
There needs to be a complete revamp update soon. please consider it.
Thanks .... Roberby
