Hello all!
My notebooks are located in the OneDrive cloud storage. I can access and work with my notebooks via web-interface in browser and via OneNote app in my Android phone. But on the OneNote 2010 which is a part of Office 2010 I have this issue when I try to open my notebooks:
"There are no sections open in this notebook or section group"
Also when I try to open notebooks I receive this error message:
How can I solve this issue?

The one of user contacted with MSFT paid support giving remote control to him computer, but they couldn't fix the OneNote 2010 problem with empty sections and pages so they escalated it to "Engineers" who are supposed to call in 3-5 days. I think he will continue to inform us about it.

If you have Office 2010 and OneNote 2016 (like me), you can use OneNote 2016 to work with notebooks located on OneDrive only. Nevertheless, if you really want to have some notebook stored localy in your computer for some reason, you can still use OneNote 2010 for them. I haven't noticed any conflicts between OneNote 2010 and OneNote 2016. However, I just tried it with new test local notebook, because normally I use only OneDrive notebooks.
Sure is it works with Office 2019 and 365.
Whether it works with Office 2010 I don't know. My installations are on separate computers.
Potential conflicts arise from MSI install vs. C2R install of the 2016 version.

That means Office 2016 or younger, right?
Or would Office 2010 be sufficient? (although that will be running out of 'extended support' this year)
You can use OneNote 2016 without any Office license. But then you cannot use local notebooks.
