OneNote 2010 all sections and pages are empty! Please help me!

I am experiencing exactly the same issue with OneNote 2010 on my computer and the problem started late Jan. 2020.  I uses two computers and interestingly the second computer doesn't have the issue, the OneNote program works perfectly fine there.  Hence, I don't think it's Microsoft server problem, less Microsoft is working to fix it as stated.  Somehow, OneNote 2010 on my first computer can no longer communicate with OneDrive and I suspect the problem arose from Windows 10 updates.

No, the problem with OneNote 2010 still didn't solved. I still have empty sections and pages in my notebooks when I open it.

I just sent the email to the o365sppe@microsoft.com. You can reporting about the problem too.

MSFT, seeing and knowing about the problem, still hasn't solved it. There are also no official statements. They just killed OneNote 2010 without any reasons and warnings.

   in the meanwhile I found that Onenote 2010 has some problem on windows 10 too. It cannot open Microsoft Ondrive form the open page. 

So I decided to give a try to Onenote 2016.

It works well on both W10 and W7, so I moved to ON16 and quit ON10 as I use notebooks only in onedrive (none local).

Anyway, I wait for soluction just in case I meed some limitation in ON 16 for my current work flow.

Some problem here on a macbook pro with windows 7  (bootcamp) and onenote 2010.

When I open notebook stored on onedrive, I get them opened but empty (no sections!).

I can even create a new notebook, stored on line, add new sections and pages. It works until I close it and reopen: then it shows empty.

I can access the contents of my notebook only via onenote on line or from another computer running windows 10 and same onenote 2010.

I cannot upgrade to windows 10 on the macbook as late 2011 model has driver problems.

I am surprised that Microsoft has no statements or suggestions on this issue.

I will try to insall onenote 2016 to have a workaround.

As I understood MSFT working to fix this problem but so far to no avail. I'm having this problem since 25th of January and to this day. I still can't open my notebooks in the OneDrive cloud storage. The OneNote 2016 is not acceptable for me and I don’t install it on my PC. I still using OneNote for Android and OneNote web version in my brouser for access to my notebooks which are located in the OneDrive storage.

MSFT promissed a full support Office 2010 until 13th of October 2020. There is an article about the Office 2010 support.
