Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Since installing Catalina 10.15 and Office 365 16.30 (updates installed the same day (something I will not due again)) when I attempt to save a workbook that I have used for a couple of years, I receive the alert: 'Your changes could not be saved to xxx.xlsx due to a sharing violation. I then receive the alert The file format end extension of 646820000.mactf don't match.
I contacted the Answer Desk who say it is an Apple Product and Apple support said it is a Microsoft problem.
Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.

We are also on 16.35 and are experiencing sharing violations when trying to save to our cloud provider, Egnyte.
I'm sure others feel the same as I do... 'Microsoft just doesn't care about Macintosh/Apple Users". I posted the problem on or about 10/19/2019 and they have done nothing to resolve the issue.
When I spoke to their Answer Desk, the Tech told me 'I should be using a Windows 10 PC, not a Mac. The problem doesn't happen there'!
Hi jacsdad - We are continuing to investigate this issue, and this thread has been a good source of information. We're also working directly with some customers. Unfortunately, so far we haven't be able to determine a consistent way to cause the problem and therefore haven't been able to find the root cause. It seems to be affecting a variety of Office versions, and happening for a variety of storage locations, from local folders, to network shares, and even one report of it happening on a thumb drive. It's been a challenge to figure out the problem.
That´s wrong. Most people here have reported it only works when accessing network shares. USB, local drives. Also, 16.29 is fine. Just see what what you did in 12.30!
Anyone knows how to make the update notifications stop? Because looks like i will stay in 16.29 for a long long time.
