I am having difficulties signing onto my personal (not for business) OneNote account with the app on my Kindle Fire HD 8 tablet. Of the countless times that I have attempted to, I received the notification:
"There's a problem
We can't complete this task. Try again.
Error code: 80004005"
I have checked that my connection was stable, and was even able to sign into OneNote through the browser, but was still unable to sign in through the app. Please reply back with solutions to this problem as soon as you are able to.

Just downloaded the latest version as of 4/24/18, and it is still broken.
It's now April 25th and we're still not able to use Onenote on the Kindle. I only say this because Microsoft won't do anything until they realize just how many Kindle/Onenote users are out there who really need this fixed. Come on Support Team, show us your superpowers.
Same issue here. Very frustrating as I literally purchased the kindle for OneNote. Hoping the fix is released ASAP
Hi: Like you, I've been waiting for a true fix to the problem giving us the error code as well. However, try this as a temporary work-around until Microsoft and/or Kindle fixes the original problem.
Make sure that you have a second email address listed in your Kindle.
Go to your OneDrive cloud account on a PC that will let you access OneDriveand click your notebook and then Share. It will ask for a email to share your notebook with. Name the second email that's in Kindle.
Open Kindle and look at your email. There should be one titled "I shared "X's Notbook *** with you in OneDrive. Hit the View in OneDrive and see if your notebook opens in Silk.
Not great, I'll admit but until it gets fixed, it's better then nothing.
