I am having difficulties signing onto my personal (not for business) OneNote account with the app on my Kindle Fire HD 8 tablet. Of the countless times that I have attempted to, I received the notification:
"There's a problem
We can't complete this task. Try again.
Error code: 80004005"
I have checked that my connection was stable, and was even able to sign into OneNote through the browser, but was still unable to sign in through the app. Please reply back with solutions to this problem as soon as you are able to.

We appreciate the information that you've provided. Since the application seems outdated, this could be affecting your OneNote. We recommend that you contact the support team of your device to check for possible fixes on their end.

Wouldn't the first step be to have the latest update provided to the app store? The version you have on the Kindle is 2 years older than the version you just pushed a few days ago to Android.
We've checked on our end and we discovered that this is a known issue. We've brought it up on our developers and currently waiting for a fix or a response form their end.
We also asked you to send this as feedback to our OneNote UserVoice by clicking this link. This will allow other users to vote or add comments on this issue, which will help our developers arrive at the possible fixes.

My wife is having the same issue with her Fire 10... she got the Error code 80004005 today.
We look forward to the resolution as well.
