Onenote for Kindle: Error 80004005

I am having difficulties signing onto my personal (not for business) OneNote account with the app on my Kindle Fire HD 8 tablet. Of the countless times that I have attempted to, I received the notification:

"There's a problem

We can't complete this task. Try again.

Error code: 80004005"

I have checked that my connection was stable, and was even able to sign into OneNote through the browser, but was still unable to sign in through the app. Please reply back with solutions to this problem as soon as you are able to.

I've had Evernote for ten years plus. The problem is I'm not prepared to pay for their Premium User, hence One Note. I'd also recommend Slack which I use for files and transfers from my partner's PCs, its very handy, and so far not a cost. If you have Office 365 fine, but I'm not a fan of this focus to monthly charging, it costs a lot more in the run. I use Office 2010 + 2013 Pro Plus on several PCs and see no reason to change. BC

Definitely Evernote! Also, My Life Organized (MLO) is pretty cool if you like the old-school way we were taught to take notes in high school, with sub categories and all that...

I just got a new Kindle yesterday. Got the same error. Only way i can get in is through the Silk browser. Better than nothing as i don't want to move everything back to Evernote. Just great Microsoft. OneNote worked great on my old Kindle which i got last year...battery died so new one. Why not now? Work it out with Amazon, please??!!!

I just bought my Kindle Fire this afternoon, and I also have the 80004005 error message. It's frustrating as (rhymes with "Dell").

I, personally, have better things to do with my time - my 90+ year old father has health problem... his well-being, and also my mother's future, is far more important to me than troubleshooting a broken piece of software. If this problem isn't fixable, I'll just cancel my Office365 subscription and move on.

Try Evernote. That's what I'm going to do. It s ridiculous that it is taking so long to get this fixed. Is Microsoft really so flummoxed by the problem that they can't fix it?
