Onenote for Kindle: Error 80004005

Joan, there is no forum for the Kindle Fire on User Voice. Which forum should we use? It's now late July, and this problem still isn't fixed.

I am having difficulties signing onto my personal (not for business) OneNote account with the app on my Kindle Fire HD 8 tablet. Of the countless times that I have attempted to, I received the notification:

"There's a problem

We can't complete this task. Try again.

Error code: 80004005"

I have checked that my connection was stable, and was even able to sign into OneNote through the browser, but was still unable to sign in through the app. Please reply back with solutions to this problem as soon as you are able to.

Amazon's rep just informed me that Microsoft Developers are not renewing the license for the One Note app on Fire HD tablets.   

I asked the Amazon rep whether the OneNote application license for the Fire HD is revoked or neglected by the developer (MS).  The Amazon rep did not have more information, and advised me to contact MS. 

Is this a temporary license issue or a permanent one?  

OneNote is my favorite application on the Fire HD, so anything that anyone can do to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue with my Kindle fire. It started two weeks ago with the same error. Uninstalled then reinstalled it with the latest version and, as of today, still cant log in on my Fire but can on iphone and pc. No pending uploads either. Thank you
