MS Project 2016 not saving custom field.

Is anyone aware of an issue with MS Project 2016 where a custom field is not being saved?

The field is a flag one and is displayed as an image. If the value of the field is changed and the file is saved, when the file is re-opened the value has been brought back to its original value before the change. It works as expected in MS Project 2013.

    Hi John,

    Another point to note is that if the file is opened in Project 2013 the values are saved (if they have been set to "No") and they are not saved when the file opened in Project 2016.

    The same behavior occurs in version 1811.

    Could you also please confirm the build of Project app? Perhaps a screenshot will be helpful, as shown below.

    Could you please provide a video showing the exact steps you’ve taken to reproduce the issue along with the symptom?

    Hi Neha,

    Thank you for your message.

    Please see version of Project below. The same behavior occurs in the latest version 1811. This has been tested in both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. The issue can be replicated in both versions of Windows.
