Access Database is getting corrupt again and again

We have an application which was working okay till last month. But after the last windows update our clients are getting issues with access database. access database got corrupted.  We ran compact and repair. But it still getting corrupted again and again.  This issue started right after the window update. clients are on different OS. Like server 2018, server 2012 and windows 10.

Is there anything i have check in new windows update or any other step to prevent database corruption?

    Hi Daniel

    Im one of those that decided to migrate our DB (32 users) to SQL Server Express, got fed up with the corruption issues with no MS solution in the near future.  Its been working just fine for the past 6 months, no more calls/complaints from users.

    Based on your comment  "will require some changes to work efficiently." , can you share what are those?

    Migrating to SQL server or Azure is relatively straightforward, but will require some changes to work efficiently.

    A true Web based system, well that's a whole other can of worms.  This is a serious undertaking, especially when just starting out.  My conversion, of a medium complexity databases, took about 6-8 months, although now I could probably do it in 2-3 months. At least 1 month was adding new features.  There's a huge learning curve (html, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, PHP, PHP framework, ...).  So I'm not saying it's easy, but the payoff is huge and stability is worth its weight in gold!!!!

    Sadly, 18+ months now, and MS can't even reliably reproduce the issue, so an actual fix ... Not sure we'll ever get one.

    IMHO, you have 2 choices, switch backends (SQL server Express, Azure, ...), switch technologies altogether.  I just finished migrating another client from Access to MySQL/PHP with great results and no more issues. 

    How Microsoft can expect users to wait around indefinitely?!  Microsoft software, Access in particular, has become too unstable to now rely on.  Very sad state to be in.
