AUTOCORRECT-ONENOTE: FOR GODS SAKE PROVIDE AN OPTION TO TURN IT OFF!!

Why, why was OneNote released without an option to turn autocorrect off?! This problem is now old enough, how was this not fixed? You essentially made OneNote completely useless, since it auto-"corrects" everything you want to type into something wrong. Why was this option removed from the new Versions of OneNote? How does it come that its not fixed by now?

    Hello,

    for those searching for the Option. 

    Open OneNote in Browser. 

    And on Home:

    However, this changes work for me online, but not on the Desktop App.

    Even not after sync & restart.

    Hello! I found a workaround: 

    Deactivate the autocorrect (LIKE EVERYTHING) on the online version of OneNote. It will update your app settings and voila! It does not autocorrect anymore. :D

    This is an absolute hassle when typing in two different languages. Even a names of English movie titles get autocorrected into some nonsense word in my native language.

    It is so very frustating that AutoCorrect corrects things that I do not want it to correct. Like school abreviation BVE it will not accept, Changes it to BE. Lousy programming I am sure. Please fix this in MS 365 as I use it accros platforms that I do not have MS 2016 for. Too bad I guess I will use GoodNotes it at least listens to what I want.
