Obviously another Microsoft regression problem.  Need a developer from MS to look at this.

It is happening to me also - I have Office 2016 (not 365).

    Here is some info:

    • Client:  Windows 10 Pro.
    • Logged into Onedrive and the network.
    • Complete access to files and Onedrive facilities - login is functioning
    • Windows 10 has latest update and same with Office 2016
    • Does not happen with Excel - only Word
    • Happens on two of my computers and 100% of the time
    • If you exit the popup (X at top right) and "don't log in" it will save anyway
    • You can't get logged in with your user/pass
    • If you hover over the _vti_rpc (see screen shot in initial post) you will see a pointer to Onedrive docs.

    Hi,

It could be that multiple accounts was used to log in to Office. We suggest that you log out of Office and log in again. Keep in mind that your settings or preferences would revert back to the default state and that you may have to configure it again after signing in.

    Update us on the results.
