A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hi Steven,
If your Office application such as Word isn't working correctly, sometimes restarting the application would fix the problem. If that doesn't work, you can try to repair Office. When you're done, you might need to restart your computer. Here's how to repair Office from Control Panel:
- Right-click the Start button, and select Programs and Featureson the pop-up menu.
- Right-click the Microsoft Office product you want to repair, and select Change.
- Note: You'll have to repair the entire Office suite even if it's just a particular application you want to repair such as Word or Excel. If you have a standalone app, then you can search for the application by name.
- From the How would you like to repair your Office programs screen, select Online Repair to make sure everything gets fixed, and then select Repair. The Quick Repair option is also available, which runs faster but only detects and then replaces corrupted files.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete.
