Word App not uploading to Dropbox

I am currently having some issues between dropbox and the Word app on my iPad. I will be typing in a document in the Word app and suddenly get an error message saying the app has saved my changes but can't upload them to Dropbox. When I check, the WiFi signal is strong and there is no obvious connection problem. In the directory the file shows "Upload Pending" under it and has an exclaimation point with a triangle around it. This happens multiple times daily, and happens to files in multiple folders. I have to save the file again with a new file name each time it happens because it won't over-write or delete the old file. Once the new file is saved, the old file never syncs and shows no yellow triange or green check icon. If I try to delete the old file I get an error message saying that the file cannot be deleted now and to try again later.  I have tried deleting and re-installing both apps multiple times and restarting device to no avail. I checked Dropbox trouble shooting and they said it was a Microsoft problem, not their end. I use these programs to take, save, and organize my class notes so getting this fixed is vital with exams coming up...thanks for your help.

I don't think anyone had reported this before April, so that is the date from which we have to start the "counter."

Sometimes, adding feedback on a topic to the Uservoice forum at http://word.uservoice.com may attract additional attention.

However, I'm afraid none of us can rush the internal processes of a commercial software company. :-(

Again this is embarraskng for Microsoft. Considering Microsoft employess were responding right away when this post was created in February, before bailing on their paying customers.

Actually, I'm not sure that all people who have a "Microsoft" badge are necessarily Microsoft employees. See https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/feedback/forum/fdbk_news/whos-who-in-the-community-affiliation-roles/ef95f5ec-79e3-4200-b23e-29604b6ca927 (the descriptions of roles and affiliations are currently being updated).

Thanks! That was a good idea with Uservoice. I posted a “suggestion” under title:

         Fix Upload/Syncing with DropBox Bug!!

It’s needs 20 likes for a response from MS, if anyone wants to help out that would be great (http://word.uservoice.com). Maybe another brick wall, but figured it can hurt

I appreciate the response & idea! Back to work I go, since everything takes twice as long (with orders of magnitude more frustration) to accomplish these days ;(
