Touchpad scroll not working with Excel 2010

Good day all,
I have an Acer Aspire ES 15 running 64bit Windows 10 and Office 2010 Professional.
I've just built this machine from new and the only application or situation where 2 fingered scrolling on the touchpad doesn't work is Excel 2010.
Following some online advice I ran a fix which didn't fix it.
I also uninstalled Office 2010. That's when I found out Office 365 was pre-installed. I uninstalled that as well. I have now performed a fresh install of Office 2010 and still have the same problem with Excel 2010 only.
Btw, this is happening for all excel files whether they have freeze panes or not.
Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated.

2018-03-24T17:38:06+00:00 YUP works for me too. I had to go to the MS knowledge base and download the update manually... but has fixed the problem from WOOP!!

2018-03-24T16:15:09+00:00 I'm glad those recent updates fixed the 2 finger scrolling issue that a December update to Windows had caused. But note said that it did not work properly for my system.

2018-03-24T16:02:14+00:00 I downloaded two updates this morning. Don't know which one fixed it but the note before mine gave the number of the update he said fixed it. Scrolling up and down in Excel 2010...hooray!
