I can no longer get publisher to print to any printer, including a physical printer (HPLaserJet) or to a file, i.e. a PDF. It tries to connect for about 30 seconds and then once connected the print button remains greyed out. All other MS Office programs work fine. Any ideas?

I'm in the same boat. Will not print too, just keeps telling me it's waiting for the printer to respond but never does.
I did try the Microsoft support both online and over the phone. No help as yet but a Publisher expert was meant to call me last week at an arranged time but no call or further contact has been made.
I'm quite disgusted with this treatment, an update is released that kills publisher and because it is 2007 version we are just meant to update. If this was a car that got sent an update and it stopped working we wouldn't put up there would be legal action and class actions everywhere but Microsoft seem to get away with it.
Almost extortion, send out an update so that we have to pay to replace a program that worked fine before.
I almost uninstalled it today but I'm using Outlook for emails and I realy don't want to have to set up another program.
No other program of mine is affected except publisher. When I attempted to go into system recovery I only had a single set point of 5 days earlier. We restored the computer to that date but it didn't fix the situation at all. Microsoft please step up and tell us you have found the solution to this problem. With over 5000 files made in publisher, this printing issue is a major setback for my work.
I don't need a work around solution as it is not effective timing. Microsoft we need you to fix publisher.
I have managed to print my Publisher files by selecting Save As a .PNG (Portable Network Graphics Format). It opens in Nero PhotoSnap Viewer and I select Print and IT DOES!!!
