Cannot print from Publisher

I can no longer get publisher to print to any printer, including a physical printer (HPLaserJet) or to a file, i.e. a PDF.  It tries to connect for about 30 seconds and then once connected the print button remains greyed out.  All other MS Office programs work fine.  Any ideas?

    I have a work computer that will not print from Publisher.  We purchase Office 365 and keep it updated always.  Our computers are all updated windows 10 professional version.  Our tech does not know what the problem is.  I can print to PDF.  But none of the other modules of MS Office have any problems printing. 

    Seems like something from MS should pop up here at some point.

    I ended up getting a newer version of office, 2010 and it is ok.

    Just recently my hard drive died and after a fresh install of windows 10 I re installed office 2007 and publisher is working fine. Win 10 has done all the updates but I didn't let office update, I'm sure it was an update that killed it originally but the big question is did Microsoft know that.

    Yes I’m sure Microsoft knew that it was an update that killed it but they were not going to fix it in order to get everyone to buy newer version of Publisher / Office

    Paul, You are a Godsend!! I haven't been able to print my Publisher documents for months and months, having to save them as a PDF then print. Your suggestion worked. AWESOME!
