Cannot print from Publisher

I can no longer get publisher to print to any printer, including a physical printer (HPLaserJet) or to a file, i.e. a PDF.  It tries to connect for about 30 seconds and then once connected the print button remains greyed out.  All other MS Office programs work fine.  Any ideas?

    This worked for me!! Fingers crossed it continues!! As I use Publisher 95% of the time, this really helped! Thank you!!

    Same problem here.   I must save as a PDF then print the PDF.  I don't want to be doing this every time I need to print.

    I tried the: unchecking "Use XPS enhanced print path when available" under Publisher Options>Advanced>Print

    That didn't help.

    FIXED!!!

    It was the font.  I was using "Constantia" and switched to "Arial" and it is working fine now!!

    Ditto to all of the above.

    Have 3 printers. Each workes with all other MS software  but MS Publisher 2007

    Does print in  PDF when I save it to PDF through MS Publisher 

    I agree with other comments, MS are pushing us to upgrade and this is totally wrong. Wonder how long before word and excel has the same problem???
