Hi,
Im running Office 365 2016 on a new MacBook 13 Pro touch bar, under Sierra 10.12.1. Im faced with a flickering screen when running a powerpoint presentation in presentation mode. So far I've tried just about every thing, even wiping the entire disc and reinstalling all software (just to make sure there was no garbage left form my old Mac). The flickering issue seems only to occur in PP and more specific in the presentation mode. When running the same presentation in keynote (by opening the .pptx file) the issue does not occur. At this point it seems to be isolated to MS Office - PP.
Has anybody encountered something similar? Any ideas?

Thanks for your patience. It looks like this issue has been fixed in macOS Sierra version 10.12.4 Beta 2. Let us know if you continue to run into any problems. And thanks for helping us troubleshoot this!

Apple released 10.12.4 yesterday. This release should include the fix for the screen flickering issue. If folks could update and then confirm back on this thread if that is indeed the case, that would be great.

I spent some time on chat with a Microsoft technician yesterday.
I told them the steps I've been through. They then went on to remove Microsoft office and re-install (which I said I had already done). Because the issue is intermittent, it wasn't happening while they were viewing my screen, so they had assumed it was resolved.
Later on it was happening again. I will re-open that case and hopefully when they realise its not getting fixed, it will raise awareness within support.
FYI: It's an intermittent issue which is hard to replicate. One thing I've found which can often get it to occur is if you are in the presentation mode, if you switch between screens (for my setup this is swiping with four fingers). When you return to the presentation, the flickering often re-occurs. Just in case you need to show the issue occurring to a technician yourself, or need to be aware of this to minimise the risk of it happening to you.
Everyone with this problem must notify Microsoft and hopefully they will deliver the update. Use the "sad face" on the top right when open the application. Meanwhile, check 2011 last version of PPT (14.7.1).
