Excel comments not displaying

I have excel 2016, and the comments have been working fine.  Just recently it does not display comments when I mouse over them. The show/hide command in the review tab is greyed out.  I never had this problem before, and never had to see if the comment show/hide feature was active or not.

    Same with me.  Now rollover on comments is working. 👍😊

    I have version 1809 (Build 10827.20181 Click-to-Run)

    Office says there are no updates available, so I'm assuming on the latest build.

    Since the last software update the roll over feature now works as intended.

    I'm now using Version 16.18 (181014).

    Having same issue. I can see the comment line, but the comment box is gone/blank.
